Miracle Flower

A simple peony painted in loose watercolor technique, this piece was sold in 2018. It’s one of the first artworks I sold and I’m happy that it is treasured by lovely couple in another side of the world.

Process involved painting loosely the peony onto khadi paper, and with a tracing paper, I planned the layout for the calligraphy. Then I transferred the calligraphy in pencil and traced with paint.
