Peranakan Limited Edition Flask

I was honoured to design a limited edition Thermos flask, inspired by the vibrant heritage of Peranakan culture. I chose to hand-paint the floral motif using watercolours to capture the softness and elegance of traditional Peranakan art.

Each stroke was carefully crafted to bring out the delicate details and rich colours that are iconic to the theme. After scanning the artwork, I refined and composed the pattern digitally to fit the flask, creating a seamless and intricate design. This project allowed me to combine my love for handcrafted illustrations with modern product design, resulting in a piece that feels both timeless and meaningful.
